Extended Family Portraits

As the years go by, it’s vitally important that we take the time to capture moments with our extended family. Extended family session fees are based on number of people participating.

Extended Family sessions start at $450 for up to 12 participants. 

This fee includes a planning conversation, our session time at a location we select together capturing whole-group poses and moments as well as smaller groupings, including time for individual family groups to have their own portraits, my time editing & retouching all the best images from our session, and access to an online proofing & ordering gallery. Also included is a $300 purchase credit for use in your gallery on orders of prints, products, and digital files.

Options to pre-order digital file packages and wall art are available upon booking.  A la carte ordering is available from your online proofing gallery after the session. $150 non-refundable retainer is due upon booking. Balance is due by the start time of your session.

Booking Your Session

When you book an Extended Family Portrait Session, we’ll also schedule a quick chat on the phone or over a cup of coffee to discuss the details of your session: the location, clothing ideas and suggestions, any pets you’d like to include, etc., as well as basic details about the participants and specific groupings you’d like us to capture. I work pretty fast and efficiently… the session will last about one hour, but length of time will depend on the number of participants and the location you choose.

After Your Session

Within three weeks of your session, I’ll be in touch with all the details to access your online proofing gallery where you will view all the best images from our time together, carefully selected and retouched by me.

Anyone from the session is welcome to access the gallery and place orders.

Ordering After Your Session

I’m proud to provide a full-service experience for my clients! You can access a full Prints & Products Pricing Guide, in which you’ll be able to view all the possibilities available for purchasing beautiful prints & products using the images from your session. 

You’ll be able to place orders directly from your online proofing & ordering gallery.

Digital files are by far my most popular product. Individual images are $45 each, or are available in increments of 5. 5 images is $150, $280 for 10 images, $400 for 15 images, and $500 for 20 images.  

Wall Art and Gift Prints are also available as heirloom quality photo prints (with or without framing), gallery canvases, wood or metal prints. Photo prints start at just $25, canvases and other wall art start around $110.

I am also proud to provide beautiful photo books & albums and other fun photo gifts. 

Average investment in an Extended Family Portrait Session proofing gallery ranges from $600 to $1,000, depending on whether the clients opt for wall art, digital files, or a unique combination of products and files. There is no minimum purchase required.
